Design Approach

The Edwards Associates design approach has been developed from experience gained through many years of architectural practice. The underlying philosophy is that we approach each project with the same discipline and methodology; the goal being to provide each client with the best services of which we are capable, and deliver to that client the project we have promised to develop.
 
We utilize the total team in our approach to design. As the architects, we respect the privilege and obligation to provide the leadership for this team, ensuring productivity and interaction among all members, including the owner, architects and engineers, consultants and contractors, maintaining a cooperative and coordinated effort throughout, to commonly establish goals. We strongly believe that the Architect and Owner must both play a significant role in the design of a project. By establishing needs, creating the project program, and studying the existing conditions of the site and the regulatory requirements, it is the team's goal to achieve the optimal design solution.
